At Aon, we're seeking a seasoned actuarial professional to lead our retirement consulting services in Canada. As a Senior Consultant, you'll work closely with clients to manage their retirement plans, leveraging your expertise to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client relationships for small to medium-sized accounts, providing strategic guidance and support to senior leaders on large clients.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to meet client needs, ensuring timely project delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive retirement services, including actuarial analysis, financial modeling, and data visualization.
  • Participate in business development activities, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes, applying your knowledge to drive business growth and improve client outcomes.

About the Role:

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Vancouver or Calgary office. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from public and private sectors, and contribute to the development of new service offerings.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in pension plan consulting or a related field.
  • English written and spoken.
  • Organization skills, rigour, and thoroughness.
  • Proficient MS Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or an equivalent degree.
  • Fully qualified actuary (FSA/FCIA) desired.
