Job Summary

La Voyager Inc is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Lead and motivate a team of cooks, kitchen helpers, and other staff members to ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide on-the-job training and coaching to help staff members develop their skills and knowledge, and to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.

Manage Food Preparation and Service

Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Maintain Quality Control

Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food meets our standards, and make adjustments as needed.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that we have adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.

Prepare Reports and Records

Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other key metrics, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service management role

Work Setting

Room and board provided

Security and Safety

Criminal record check required

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and walk frequently.
