We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at 2649170 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Restaurant Staff: Lead a team of 3-4 food service staff, including food and beverage servers and food service counter attendants and food preparers.
- Ensure Excellent Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Manage Restaurant Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Recruit and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality food and beverage standards.
- Monitor and Control Costs: Manage labor costs, inventory, and other expenses to ensure the restaurant operates within budget.
- Maintain a Safe and Healthy Work Environment: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting regular safety audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
