Pharmacist for Oncology Program Development

CancerCare Manitoba, a provincial agency providing clinical and academic services for cancer control and blood disorders, is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will assist the Director in implementing new drug programs, evaluating current programs, and developing policies for new treatments. They will also provide quality assurance for oncology drug management.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of new drug programs
- Evaluate current drug programs to ensure effectiveness
- Develop policies and institutional tools for new treatments
- Provide quality assurance for oncology drug management
- Graduate of Pharmacy from an accredited university
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in Manitoba
- At least 3 years of experience as a pharmacist
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Satisfactory employment record
- Ability to work legally in Canada
- Experience in an institutional pharmacy
- Experience in oncology pharmacy
- Experience in evaluation and monitoring of drug therapies
- Experience in formulary development and maintenance
- Familiarity with the pan Canadian Oncology Drug Review (pCODR) process
- Member of the Canadian Association of Pharmacy in Oncology
