Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at BWX Technologies, Inc. in Ottawa, ON, CA. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance systems, procedures, and documentation to meet regulatory standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and quality assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments on quality-related matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA, Health Canada, and ISO 9001 standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
  • Certification in quality auditing, such as ASQ, is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, including GMP and ISO 9001.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
