Job DescriptionField Engineer/Coordinator Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, as a Field Engineer/Coordinator.

You will be responsible for assisting with updating drawings and specifications, documenting field records for quality, production, labor, and materials, and assisting with inventory and tracking time sheets, costs, and quantities.

You will also assist in monitoring the quality plan, including conducting quality inspections, conducting basic safety inspections and training, identifying and correcting safety hazards, and leading by example in safety practices and procedures.

Additionally, you will assist the project team with subtrade partner management, including managing requests for information, shop drawings, changes, and billings, and workforce planning.

You will develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, and assist with schedules and monitoring performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, trade, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of progressive experience as a field coordinator is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles, specifications, and procedures.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, including supervisors and subtrade partners.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
