We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Project Manager to lead and manage wastewater treatment projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and technologies, as well as excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage wastewater treatment projects from inception to closeout, including design, construction, commissioning, and operation phases.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Conduct feasibility studies, engineering analyses, and technical evaluations to develop innovative and sustainable wastewater treatment solutions.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Prepare and present project status reports, progress updates, and budget analyses to clients, stakeholders, and management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure project success.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the project team, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field; P.Eng. or CET designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in wastewater treatment engineering and project management.
- Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully managing wastewater treatment projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage project resources effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship in all aspects of project delivery.
