Job Title: Water and Wastewater Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Water and Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. As a key member of our Water team, you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to design and develop water and wastewater treatment systems for municipal and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop water and wastewater treatment systems, including feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and detailed designs.
  • Prepare technical reports, design reports, and technical memoranda to summarize calculations, economic analyses, and design bases.
  • Prepare conceptual and detailed design drawings, calculations, construction specifications, tender documents, and other duties as assigned.
  • Communicate design and task progress with senior engineers and project managers, and present to clients as required.
  • Conduct chemical or process simulation modeling as required, and perform field work related to site investigations in support of design work.
  • Meet with clients, regulators, and officials to review project needs and coordinate field conditions.
  • Communicate and coordinate with multiple internal disciplines, CAD technicians, engineers, and project managers related to task activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, with a strong interest in water/wastewater projects.
  • Registered APEGA Engineer-in-Training, or ability to obtain within six months.
  • Minimum of 0-4 years of experience in engineering analysis and design of water and/or wastewater systems.
  • Good driving record and valid Driver's License.
