The Opportunity

KMH Cardiology Centres Inc. is seeking a part-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our KMH Centre of Excellence in Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will perform high-quality nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures independently, adhering to CMRITO, MOH, CNSC regulations, and our protocols, policies, and procedures.

  • Prepare patients for scanning on Gamma Cameras, instructing or aiding them during the procedure.
  • Complete equipment maintenance, ensuring medical devices and cameras operate properly.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition, ensuring examination rooms are prepared before, during, and after shifts.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong clinical background as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, preferably with 1 year of experience.
  • Completion of recognized education in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Nuclear Medicine procedures and operating regulations.
  • Current registration in good standing with CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario) and CAMRT.
