Comprehensive Communication Specialist

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a fulfilling opportunity in Kelowna, B.C.? We invite applications for a 0.59fte Community Speech-Language Pathologist position at our Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will be an autonomous professional with expertise in typical development and disorders of communication as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. You will work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them to create environments that promote optimal communication.
This is a permanent part-time position working from 08:00-16:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. As a member of our team, you will contribute to quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education within the department/program.

Requirements- Full practicing registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
- One year's clinical experience with adults in a hospital setting and/or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- A valid BC Driver's license is required.
