Framing Manager

Michaels is seeking a skilled Framing Manager to lead our framing team in OKOTOKS, AB. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for driving custom framing sales, assisting customers in creating memorable framing solutions, and leading a team of framers to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of framers to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Develop and coach team members to improve their selling behaviors and skills
- Plan and execute high-quality custom framing solutions to meet customer needs and expectations
- Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Partner with Store Manager to achieve store goals and objectives
- Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members
- Participate in performance management activities and talent development initiatives
- Basic computer skills
- Previous custom framing experience is preferred
- Retail management experience
- Experience leading a sales team
Our store is a public retail setting with a climate-controlled environment. Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and outdoor work may be required to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks. The frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses.
