Framing Manager

Michaels is seeking a skilled Framing Manager to lead our framing team in OKOTOKS, AB. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for driving custom framing sales, assisting customers in creating memorable framing solutions, and leading a team of framers to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of framers to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Develop and coach team members on selling behaviors and customer service skills
- Plan and execute custom framing solutions to meet customer needs and drive sales
- Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Partner with the Store Manager to achieve store goals and objectives
- Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Participate in performance management activities and talent development initiatives
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems
- Previous custom framing experience or retail management experience
- Leadership experience and ability to coach and develop team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing priorities
Our store is a public retail setting with a climate-controlled environment. Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled, and outdoor work may be required to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks. The frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses.
