Framing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Framing Manager to lead our custom framing team at Michaels in Okotoks, AB. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for driving custom framing sales, leading and coaching a team of framers, and delivering high-quality framing solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of framers to achieve sales and production goals
- Develop and implement strategies to drive custom framing sales and increase customer engagement
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience
- Participate in performance management activities and talent development initiatives
- Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members
- Previous custom framing experience is preferred
- Retail management experience and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and move throughout the store
Our store is a public retail setting with a climate-controlled environment. Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled, and outdoor work may be required to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks. The frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses.
