The Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure-track Tier 2 Canada Research Chair appointment in Community-Based Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This prestigious position offers a unique opportunity to lead world-leading research programs and establish a robust graduate program in community-based business studies.
The successful candidate will lead a research program examining the role of community-based entrepreneurship and innovation in sustainable economic and societal growth, particularly in rural, remote, and Indigenous areas in Saskatchewan. The Chair will have access to the Business Research Integration Group at Edwards, or BRIDGE, which facilitates connections between researchers, industry, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a research program in community-based entrepreneurship and innovation
- Establish a robust graduate program in community-based business studies
- Collaborate with community partners to advance impactful entrepreneurship research
- Contribute to the development of the Edwards School of Business and the University of Saskatchewan
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in entrepreneurship, management, or a relevant field
- Less than 10 years of experience as an active researcher
- Exceptional emerging scholar with potential for excellence, creativity, and leadership in research
