Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Eaton's Milton Plant. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing prefabricated parts and modifying basic components using hand and power tools.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be responsible for interpreting manufacturing information documents to determine assembly and installation requirements, assembling and installing prefabricated parts, and modifying basic components to meet product specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpreting manufacturing information documents to determine assembly and installation requirements
  • Assembling and installing prefabricated parts and modifying basic components using hand and power tools
  • Modifying components and sub-assemblies to meet product specifications
  • Collaborating with the Production Supervisor to ensure efficient and effective production processes
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of mechanical assembly and installation procedures, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift and carry heavy materials.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
