Job Title: Human Resources Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at Spring Financial Inc.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to the organization, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and training and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Provide information and services to employees, including employee assistance and counseling.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
  • Recruit and hire staff.
  • Train staff.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures.
  • Oversee the classification and rating of occupations.
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
  • Manage contracts.
  • Manage training and development strategies.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance reviews.
  • Oversee payroll administration.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
