Job Title: Press Operator

Cascades Canada ULC is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art printing presses, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality products
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on presses and equipment
  • Monitor and control ink levels, viscosity, and color
  • Set up and operate presses at slow speed to check samples
  • Monitor regular press runs for quality using computer control console
  • Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run
  • Report any malfunctions to supervisor
  • Perform other laboring and elemental activities as required
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
