About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Inventory Manager to join our Amazon Canada Retail Hardlines team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives that drive inventory management, supply chain optimization, and customer experience improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage core inventory functions, including buying, forecasting, capacity management, inventory levels, and reporting.
  • Design and improve inventory systems and processes in collaboration with technical and product teams.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost structure and profitability, and work with partner teams to execute.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with Excel and data analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management.
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience managing and analyzing large data sets.
  • Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience delivering results by partnering with and influencing others.
  • Knowledge of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
  • MBA or related Master's degree.
