About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Amazon Canada's Retail Hardlines business. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for owning the inventory management strategy for some of the world's most exciting and well-known brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Joint planning and execution of retail strategies in partnership with our vendors and vendor managers
  • Managing core Instock functions like buying, forecasting, assessing our inventory health, reporting, and tracking KPIs
  • Improving Instock systems and processes in partnership with partner teams
  • Improving cost structure and profitability while optimizing our inventory
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with Excel
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience managing and analyzing large data sets
  • Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience delivering results by partnering with and influencing others
  • Knowledge of P&L
  • MBA or related Master's degree
