Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager, Canada Retail Hardlines

Amazon Canada's Retail Hardlines business is seeking a Sr. Instock Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will own the inventory management strategy for some of the world's most exciting and well-known brands.

In this role, you will drive supply chain improvements across multiple sourcing channels from around the world. You will be responsible for joint planning and execution of retail strategies in partnership with our vendors and vendor managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing core Instock functions like buying, forecasting, assessing our inventory health, reporting and tracking KPIs
  2. Improving Instock systems and processes in partnership with partner teams
  3. Improving cost structure and profitability while optimizing our inventory

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience with Excel
  2. Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
  3. Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management
  4. Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  5. Experience managing and analyzing large data sets

What We Offer:

A strong candidate will have knowledge of fundamental business principles and/or previous retail experience. They will possess advanced data extraction skills (i.e., SQL, Python) and understand how to read a P&L or have previous finance background.
