Job Title: Associate Branch Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Branch Director to join our team at RBC Dominion Securities Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth, developing and implementing strategies, and leading a team of investment advisors and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the branch, including sales management, human resource management, operations control, and supervision of compliance.
  • Provide leadership and support to investment advisors and support staff in hiring, training, and motivating.
  • Assess performance, provide developmental opportunities, coaching, and feedback as required.
  • Promote the firm's corporate image by developing and maintaining business relationships throughout RBC Financial Group and within the community.

Requirements:

  • CSC and CPH designations and ability to complete BM license within 3 months.
  • Minimum of 2 years' retail brokerage experience with investment advisor experience or similar experience.
  • Post-secondary education (college or university).
  • Proven experience in leading a team, coaching, and developing and motivating others.
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with ambiguity and managing multiple operations and servicing activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to engage a diverse team, including branch staff, middle office, and internal and external partners.
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and dealing with challenging and complex situations to drive success.
  • Decisive and results-driven.
