Program Implementer, Provincial Preschool Autism Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Implementer to join our Provincial Preschool Autism Services team at IWK Health Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based interventions to preschool-age children with autism and their families, promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral development.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver standardized interventions based on care pathways and manualized comprehensive programs
- Provide direct service provision to preschool-age children with autism and their families
- Collaborate with Clinical Interventionists, Speech Language Pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to meet the unique needs of each child and family
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Child and Youth Studies, or related field
- Recent experience working with young children with developmental disabilities, specifically autism
- Post-Secondary Behavioral Interventions Certificate or Diploma preferred
- Current BLS certification and First Aid training required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
