Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Wyndham Garden Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent position, working 30 to 44 hours per week.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience as a chef in a hotel setting, preferably with a focus on culinary excellence.
  • You will be required to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring a seamless and efficient kitchen operation.
  • Additional responsibilities include training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as inspecting kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards are met.
About You
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • A passion for culinary arts, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
