Job Title: Alterations Specialist

At David's Bridal, we're seeking a skilled Alterations Specialist to join our team. As an Alterations Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring that every wedding gown and special occasion dress is altered to perfection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported throughout the alteration process.
  • Conduct thorough fittings to ensure a precise fit, making adjustments as needed to guarantee a flawless finish.
  • Collaborate with stylists to ensure seamless communication and a smooth customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest alteration techniques and trends, ensuring that every garment meets David's Bridal's high standards.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines, managing multiple alterations and fittings simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree.
  • 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
  • Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment.
  • Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.
