Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our development team as a Senior Development Leader. The successful candidate will play a key role in securing funding for our ministry's mission through strategic relationship building and fundraising activities.

Main Responsibilities

The Senior Development Leader will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with major donors to support their philanthropic interests;
  • Working closely with the development team to set annual goals and monitor performance;
  • Developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the ministry;
  • Providing training, mentorship, and guidance to team members to ensure they can effectively articulate and communicate the ministry's mission;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education or professional training in non-profits, fundraising, sales, or marketing;
  • Experience in relationship building and fundraising, preferably in a non-profit setting;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate the ministry's mission and vision;
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation is considered an asset.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
