Job Title: Miramichi Registered Nurse Class A

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Horizon Health Network. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Your expertise and strong critical thinking skills will enable you to respond effectively to emergency situations and prioritize patient care needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Conduct thorough assessments and gather information to inform patient care decisions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance nursing practice and patient outcomes.

Requirements:
Current registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.
Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course and recertification within one year.
Minimum of 2 years experience in an Emergency Department and/or critical care setting.
Certification in IV and CVAD Therapy.
Current BCMI/ACLS Certification or willingness to acquire certification within 6 months.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions:
This role requires a high level of physical and mental stamina to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. The successful candidate must be able to respond to emergency situations and prioritize patient care needs.
