RVA is seeking motivated engineering students to join our dynamic teams in Municipal, Land Development, Structural, and Transportation Engineering. As a co-op student, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to impactful projects.

About the Role

As a co-op engineering student, you will assist in pre-engineering site surveys and inspections, design roads, rail, sewers, watermains, and municipal infrastructure projects, and provide office support during the construction stage of projects. You will also help prepare AutoCAD and MicroStation and Revit design drawings, assist with quantity calculations, and prepare tender documents.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a third- or fourth-year student in the Civil Engineering program
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/MicroStation/Civil3D/Revit is an asset
  • Superior communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere
  • Valid G Class Driver's License and access to a vehicle
