Job Description

This full-time position provides legal services to internal stakeholders and supports the General Counsel and Senior Leadership Team on a broad spectrum of business and legal issues. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contract negotiation and review, including Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work
  • Supporting the development of comprehensive privacy programs to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations
  • Providing legal advice and support on data protection and privacy matters, including conducting privacy impact assessments and managing data breach responses
  • Conducting research on applicable legislation, regulation, and industry standards to support company compliance and best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law, contract law, and data protection and privacy regulations
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Fluency in both English and French (an asset)

Estimated Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
