Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at Elby Professional Recruitment Inc. as a Business Development Representative - Custom Manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining connections with new and existing clientele, networking and driving sales across both the Canadian and American market, conducting market analysis and research to identify new business opportunities, creating, negotiating and closing effective business deals, and working closely with other departments as needed to provide the highest level of quality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the custom manufacturing industry
  • Develop and present sales proposals, pitches, and presentations to clients and stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the custom manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of success in business development and sales growth
  • Working knowledge and insight into Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or equipment leasing, with the ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Customer-focused, attentive, with great follow-up skills and a passion for sales and customer service
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, CRM, and ERP systems
