Job Title: Bicycle Repair Shop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bicycle Repair Shop Supervisor to join our team at Ohm Cycles Canada Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of bicycle mechanics, coordinating and scheduling activities, overseeing apprenticeship training, and ensuring the smooth operation of our repair shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train a team of bicycle mechanics to ensure high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate and schedule repair shop activities, including maintenance, installation, and repair of bicycles.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training programs to ensure that new technicians are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Set up and maintain equipment and machinery in the repair shop to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the repair shop.
  • Work closely with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a bicycle repair shop or related field.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
