About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, regional, and federal regulations. Your expertise in health and safety protocols will drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Partner with site leadership to execute company policies and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential hazards and develop strategies to prevent injuries and illnesses.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and execute leadership development plans for WHS professionals, focusing on building trust, confidence, and influencing change.
  • Audit and Review: Conduct regular site audits to identify non-compliant equipment and processes, and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to risks.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field such as environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related discipline.
  • Work Experience: At least 3 years of increasing responsibilities in WHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including pivot tables, charts, and graphics.

We are open to hiring candidates who can work out of Cambridge, ON, CAN. Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
