We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Quality Control Inspector to join our Manufacturing Quality Control team at Arc'teryx. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products by performing quality control inspections, collaborating with the quality and production teams, and troubleshooting quality issues.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality control inspections on products and raw materials to ensure they meet Arc'teryx's quality standards.
- Collaborate with the quality and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Conduct water leakage tests and in-line inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Record inspection results and complete documentation in a timely manner.
- Notify supervisors of any discrepancies between approved samples and production results.
- Work with operators, team leaders, and supervisors to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in projects and tasks as assigned, including 5S and other housekeeping initiatives.
- Previous experience in quality control and/or the garment industry.
- Accurate color acuity.
- Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently without direct supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
- Basic computer knowledge with the ability to operate a tablet and simple data entry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
- Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
- Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration.
- Unwavering commitment to quality and excellence.
- Basic knowledge of a spoken second language.
