Business Development Coordinator

Canlan Sports TM, a leading provider of recreational sports complexes in North America, is seeking a highly motivated Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth and promoting our facilities through innovative marketing strategies and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage facility surface flow, including contracts, spot rentals, third-party tournaments, and in-house tournaments.
- Support the entire sales and marketing process, from awareness and promotion to customer retention.
- Develop and execute a fully integrated direct sales strategy for the facility, ensuring a proactive and aggressive approach to revenue development.
- Assist in creating annual sport surface plans, maximizing opportunities for Adult Recreational Leagues, Community Program Initiatives, internal and external tournaments, contract holders, and special event initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Post-secondary school diploma or degree in business, marketing, and/or recreation (an asset).
- At least 3 years' experience within a sports/recreational environment (an asset).
- Demonstrated experience in closing sales in a sales environment.
- Excellent listening and customer service skills to provide solutions.
- Strong follow-up skills and an ability to deal with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
