Job Title: Slot Supervisor

Job Type: Part-Time

Salary: $52,000 annually


About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Slot Supervisor to join our team at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. As a Slot Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and guests. You will supervise frontline team members, assign work duties, and manage slot machine reservations and promotions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise frontline team members and assign work duties.
  • Manage slot machine reservations and promote casino initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor employees and create an engaging work environment.
  • Manage schedules as required.
  • Work in compliance with internal controls, company policies and procedures and/or provincial lottery/gaming policies and procedures.
  • Manage or report any violations and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary.
  • Acquire and maintain a knowledge of all slot operations policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.


Requirements

  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience in casino/hospitality industry preferred.
  • Post-secondary education or a combination of education and experience an asset.
  • Experience handling cash and working with the public.
  • Superior customer service and people management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • DealUs In (Phase 1) and Reel Facts VLT training within 30 days of start (Alberta).
  • A willingness to develop new skills and stay on top of the latest industry news and insights.
