Transportation Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Manager to join our team at 10090615 Manitoba Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient and effective transportation of goods.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of transportation staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Financial Management: Manage finances or budget to ensure that transportation operations are cost-effective and profitable.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, and establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in transportation management.
- Skills: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
