Cybersecurity is a rapidly evolving field, and our team at Imperva is dedicated to staying ahead of the curve. As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for tackling complex field issues and developing mitigation strategies to combat automated threats targeting web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.

The Opportunity:

You will analyze large amounts of traffic to websites to identify global correlations and patterns. Based on your findings, you will collaborate with customers and internal teams to implement effective mitigation strategies. A key component of this role is working closely with clients to investigate anomalies and provide detailed evidence for all actions taken.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in Imperva's Bot Detection platform and understand how bots and bot operators attack websites.
  • Work with customers to fully comprehend the impact of automated attacks on their business and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate these issues.
  • Analyze customer network traffic, application designs, and applications to provide recommendations for mitigating bot attacks.
  • Regularly work with customers on their specific security-related engagements per their billable hours.
  • Participate in presentations with customers on a regular basis.
  • Contribute to the development of actionable intelligence that informs future product enhancements.
  • Use data visualization tools to create consumable reports to validate findings and demonstrate the efficacy of actions taken.
  • Be a trusted advisor and take ownership of problems encountered.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Bot Management.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a relevant technical degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and customer skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Looker.
  • Basic script writing skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Able to automate redundant tasks, streamline repetitive processes, and scale operations.
  • Ability to lead and work independently as well as tightly with a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Proficiency in English language required for effective communication within an English-speaking environment.
  • Full-time position.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary range for this position is CAD $97,200-$105,000, based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, other qualifications, and location. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, extended medical, dental, and disability benefits, life and travel insurance, flexible time off, RRSP, and more.
