About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide consultation, assessment, and planned interventions for diverse client groups across Southern Ontario and the capital region.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards established by VHA and the regulatory college.
  • Implement client interventions based on assessment information, client input, and in conjunction with the client's integrated care plan.
  • Ensure that services provided are best practice, evidence-based, and evaluated through the routine use of valid and reliable outcome measures.
  • Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries of interventions as required by the profession, referral source, and the organization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Membership in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • A valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature.
  • Self-driven with ability to work independently.
  • Skilled in caseload management.
  • Skilled at electronic documentation.
  • Able to provide virtual care.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
