About the Role:
The University of Toronto is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fundraising Professional to join its team as the Director of Advancement for the Faculty of Music. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in advancing the Faculty's highest academic and institutional priorities through strategic fundraising and alumni engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual and multi-year plans and strategies to achieve transformational growth in fundraising and alumni engagement results.
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to a team of advancement professionals to increase their impact and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the Faculty's academic leadership to translate academic priorities into compelling funding propositions and alumni engagement propositions.
- Represent the Faculty's priorities and mission to external constituents as an effective and credible institutional leader.
- Ensure alignment with the University's best practices for fundraising and alumni relations programs.
Requirements:
A University degree is required, and 5+ years of direct fundraising experience with a proven track record of executive advancement responsibility and leadership in annual, major, and planned giving programs in a large, complex organization is essential. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and experience working with ARBOR, Blackbaud CRM, or a similar database management system are also required.
What We Offer:
The University of Toronto offers a competitive salary range of $87,384 - $201,658 and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a full-time, continuing appointment with a schedule of 1AP - Broadband Salary Range.
