Protecting Critical Infrastructure: A Lead Hardware Engineer Opportunity

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic circuits and circuit boards for secure infrastructure
  • Develop firmware and FPGA models for electronic boards, ensuring robust security features
  • Oversee certification procedures for electronics, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Manage the integration of electronic and mechanical components in system assembly
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to drive design cycles and timelines
  • Lead team members in knowledge sharing and empowerment, promoting a culture of innovation
  • Drive results-oriented performance, setting high standards and self-motivating the team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
  • Postgraduate degrees are a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in a hardware leadership role
  • 4+ years of experience in building production-scale electronics
  • Strong background in RF, transmission lines, and EM theory
  • Proficiency in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit and PCB design
  • Experience with EM simulations for PCB design and EMI/EMC assessment
  • Familiarity with EMC compliance and certification processes
  • Skills in analog and digital measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers and VNA

Preferred Skills: Digital hardware design skills for FPGA and microcontrollers, software skills in C/C++ embedded programming, Python, and shell scripting
