Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive information security management system to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement security controls, including access controls, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Participate in incident response and crisis management activities to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
- Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
- Knowledge of cloud security, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Competitive salary range: $90,000 to $100,000 CAD.
