About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Cement Finishing Foreman/Woman to join our team at BuildCo Contracting Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cement finishing teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Prepare and submit reports on production and other relevant activities.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including setting up equipment and materials.
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in the hiring process.
  • Support the integration of newcomers and refugees into the team, including providing mentorship and diversity training.
  • Participate in youth employment programs and offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in a noisy environment.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members.
