Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres to provide expert guidance to staff.
  • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient service delivery.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet high standards of quality and service. The role requires physical demands, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
