Food Service Manager

Hollander Motor Hotel is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres to provide expert recommendations to customers.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet demanding service standards. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Requirements:- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address customer complaints and staff issues.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
