Food Service Manager

Hollander Motor Hotel is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres to provide exceptional customer experiences.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
As a Food Service Supervisor at Hollander Motor Hotel, you will work in a fast-paced environment with high pressure to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will be required to work physically demanding shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements:- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and guidance to staff.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
