Financial Operations Specialist

At Brain Consulting Tech Corp., we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

* Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees
* Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining accurate records and reports
* Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing insights into our company's financial performance
* Post journal entries, reconciling accounts and ensuring financial accuracy
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports, providing valuable insights to management
* Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
* Prepare trial balance of books, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Personal Qualities:

* Accurate and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on financial accuracy and compliance
* Strong judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data
* Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality

Work Environment:

* 37.5 hours per week, with a permanent work term
* English language required
