Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage benefits administration, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning: Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements, cost savings, and revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliable, team player, and time management skills.
