Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at 2512239 Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of financial tasks, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and preparing tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as manage benefits and other employee-related expenses.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST and PST returns.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a financial operations role.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Term

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week.
