Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team at The Ottawa Hospital Foundation. As a key member of our Marketing & Communications team, you will provide administrative support to our Chief Marketing Officer and contribute to the success of our marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general administrative support to the Chief Marketing Officer, including calendar management and scheduling, meeting support, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Coordinate with the Finance department to arrange timely payment of invoices and record expenses in the budget tracking document.
  • Monitor emails received to our main marketing inbox and coordinate with vendors to obtain estimates, quotes, and invoices.
  • Liaise with the hospital's facilities staff to install and maintain physical and digital marketing assets across The Ottawa Hospital.
  • Restock marketing collateral, order swag and promotional items, and maintain a keen attention to detail in all tasks.
Requirements:
  • Administrative and/or project management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software, particularly Wrike and Raiser's Edge.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
