About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Healthwise Optimum Massage Ltd. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultations
    • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their massage therapy needs and goals.
  • Massage Therapy Services
    • Administer various massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations.
    • Assess clients' range of motion and muscle function to develop effective treatment plans.
    • Explain treatment plans and procedures to clients, including risks and benefits.
  • Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of treatments provided to clients.
  • Client Education
    • Provide clients with home care instructions and information on massage techniques.
Requirements
  • Certification
    • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Education
    • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field of massage therapy.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Interpersonal awareness and values and ethics.
