  • Client Education: Clearly explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients, ensuring they are fully informed and comfortable with their treatment plan.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of treatments given, including client information and treatment details.
  • Client Communication: Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques to clients, promoting ongoing care and wellness.
Requirements
  • Certification: Hold certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Criminal Record Check: Possess a valid criminal record check.
  • Driver's Licence: Hold a valid driver's licence.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Work in a mobile or remote setting, providing massage services to clients in various locations.
  • Work Hours: Work 40 to 44 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
